Iconic Open University is seeking a Finance Officer to join its team in Sokoto-Nigeria.

The ideal candidate should have the ability to support the university with all financial accounts, finance operations, and budgeting processes. The Finance Officer will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related field. Masters’ degree is an added advantage.
• Proven experience in financial planning and forecasting.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:
• Support the team with all financial accounts, operations, and budgeting processes.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the university’s financial accounts and processes.
• Support the team with sound financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Develop and maintain internal control systems.
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Apply for Help Desk Officer

Do you have experience in customer service and enjoy helping people? Iconic Open University is looking for a Help Desk Officer to provide dedicated customer service and technical support to our students and faculty members.

We are looking for candidates who are team-oriented, patient, and have excellent communication skills. If you have a flair for customer service, previous experience in customer service or tech support, and an enthusiasm for helping people, this could be the perfect job for you.

As a Help Desk Officer, you will be responsible for:
• Responding to students’ and prospective candidates’ inquiries regarding our programs, application, admission, and online systems.
• Assisting students and faculty members with technical queries and requests.
• Answering questions, providing advice, and troubleshooting problems.
• Providing excellent customer service to our clients.
• Updating and maintaining our university technical systems.

You should have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of working experience in a customer service or help desk role, as well as knowledge in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

As a finance officer I have a responsibility for undertaking regular financial analysis in order to identify, address and resolved issues or variances, I also assist in budget preparation and administrative task with administrative staff.
