Mid-Level Flutter Developer
Description
As part of our digital expansion, we are looking for a mid-level Flutter Developer with a strong understanding of mobile development best practices to build and maintain high-performance, user-friendly mobile applications, to join our growing tech team at our Sokoto campus. The ideal candidate will collaborate with our cross-functional team to develop educational technology tools that enhance student experience and access to learning.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend developers to build responsive and functional applications.
- Optimize app performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployments.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience building mobile applications with Flutter.
- Strong knowledge of Dart and mobile app architecture (BLoC, Provider, etc.).
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and app deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Skills
- Experience with Firebase or other backend-as-a-service platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Understanding of UI/UX principles for mobile platforms.
