Dr. Anas Sanusi Gusau is a visionary international businessman, Nigerian entrepreneur and educationist from Gusau, Zamfara State. He’s the founder and Pro-Chancellor of Iconic Open University, Nigeria’s first private-owned open and distance learning university successfully securing its license and launching academic activities with 2 faculties, 13 departments, and 16 undergraduate programmes in 2023/2024. As CEO of Miare Farms, he transformed degraded land into a thriving research and production farm, focusing on fruits and vegetables and providing hands-on agricultural training.

With a strong passion for community impact, Dr. Gusau has created over 2000 jobs, empowered youth, and pioneered sustainable farming practices in Northern Nigeria. His expertise spans farm management, educational administration, and leadership in innovation and rural development. He is also recognized for supporting conflict management and mediation initiatives in his home state, responding to local challenges with practical solutions that blend education, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility.
