The Faculty of Allied Health Sciences at Iconic Open University is a specialized academic unit dedicated to advancing healthcare education through flexible, technology-driven learning. As part of Nigeria's first private open university in Northern Nigeria, the Faculty offers programmes including Public Health, Nursing Science, Community Health and Health Information Management. The Faculty is committed to producing competent health professionals through innovative, cutting-edge education and research, with a focus on transforming lives through technology and improving the quality of the healthcare system. In line with the university's open distance and e-learning model, the Faculty ensures students receive rigorous, industry-focused training while balancing their studies with other commitments. Demonstrating its commitment to academic excellence, the Faculty actively engages with professional regulatory bodies such as the Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN) and the Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria (HRORBN), Nursing and Midwefery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) to secure accreditation for its programmes. With a vision to lead in allied health education, the Faculty prepares graduates to address critical healthcare challenges, particularly in underserved and rural communities across Nigeria and beyound.
