The Department of Health Information Management at Iconic Open University is an innovative academic unit dedicated to producing highly skilled professionals who manage, secure, and utilize healthcare data to improve health service delivery through flexible, technology-driven learning. As part of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, the Department offers programmes including the B.HIM. Health Information Management designed to equip students with the competencies required to effectively manage health information systems, ensure data accuracy and security, and support evidence-based decision-making in healthcare institutions.
