Master of Information Technology (Digital Economy)

The Master of Information Technology with specialization in Digital Economy equips students with the latest skills and knowledge in the rapidly evolving field of technology and its impact on the economy. Master of Information Technology (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning)

The Master of Information Technology with specialization in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning is designed to equip students with in-depth knowledge and skills in the rapidly growing fields of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Admission Requirements

Entry Criteria

To be admitted for the MIT programme, candidate must have 5 O’Level credits passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. In addition to the O’Level requirement above, candidate is expected to:

a.) i. have a minimum of second class lower division of a first degree in computing science-based disciplines such as Information Technology, Information and Communication Technology, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Electronics/Electrical and related engineering including any other related discipline.

ii. have a minimum of second class (lower division) of a first degree for MIT specialization in Digital Economy, ICT and Information Management can present certificates in Business Admin, Public Admin, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Marketing and any other related.

iii. have a minimum of second class (lower division) of a first degree for MIT specialization in (ICT Laws & Governance in can present certificates in LLB or any other computer related courses.

b.) have a university degree related to computing science in third class plus 5 years post-graduation experience or HND plus a university PGD at credit level pass, (i.e., CGPA of 3.0/5.0) or 50% on weighted percentage average may be considered for admission. This is also applicable to (a) ii & iii above.

c.) present NYSC certificate (discharge, exemption or exclusion) for Nigerian candidates.

Note: Only certificates recognized by the Senate of Iconic University will be granted admissions.

Programme Fees

Tuition and payment

Iconic University charges modest fees that give learners the chance to pay per semester only. Nigerian candidates seeking admission will pay an application fee of N15,000 and $50 would be paid by international applicants.

Semester Fees:

Semester Fees are charged based on the human development index (HDI) of country of residence.

01Nigerians living in Nigeria only: N175,000 (payment of practical/practicum/project courses or hardcopy course materials is exclusive)
02Anyone living in Very High Development Countries (International Students): $800 or equivalent
03Anyone living in High Development Countries (International Students): $600 or equivalent
04Anyone living in Medium Development Countries (International Students): $400 or equivalent
05Anyone living in Low Development Countries (International Students): $300 or equivalent
06Anyone living in “Other countries” (International Students): $300 or equivalent
