To be admitted for the MIT programme, candidate must have 5 O’Level credits passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. In addition to the O’Level requirement above, candidate is expected to:
a.) i. have a minimum of second class lower division of a first degree in computing science-based disciplines such as Information Technology, Information and Communication Technology, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Electronics/Electrical and related engineering including any other related discipline.
ii. have a minimum of second class (lower division) of a first degree for MIT specialization in Digital Economy, ICT and Information Management can present certificates in Business Admin, Public Admin, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Marketing and any other related.
iii. have a minimum of second class (lower division) of a first degree for MIT specialization in (ICT Laws & Governance in can present certificates in LLB or any other computer related courses.
b.) have a university degree related to computing science in third class plus 5 years post-graduation experience or HND plus a university PGD at credit level pass, (i.e., CGPA of 3.0/5.0) or 50% on weighted percentage average may be considered for admission. This is also applicable to (a) ii & iii above.
c.) present NYSC certificate (discharge, exemption or exclusion) for Nigerian candidates.
Note: Only certificates recognized by the Senate of Iconic University will be granted admissions.
