The Department of Accounting at Iconic Open University is a prestigious academic unit dedicated to producing high-calibre accounting professionals who can contribute to organizational success and national development through flexible, technology-driven learning . As part of the Faculty of Management, Social, & Media Sciences, the Department offers the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Accounting at the undergraduate level, a 400-level programme designed to equip students with comprehensive knowledge of financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, auditing, and financial management.

The programme provides students with the analytical skills needed for recognizing, defining, and solving problems, along with leadership, interpersonal relations, and entrepreneurial competencies to prepare them for the ever-evolving world of accounting practice. The Department is committed to producing skilled accountants, financial analysts, and finance professionals through innovative teaching, cutting-edge research, and practical training, with a focus on transforming lives through technology and meeting the growing demand for accounting expertise across all sectors.
